I never got the hang of swaddling. Claire slept in a pack in play bassinet for 8 weeks and Asher slept in his car seat for 8 weeks. Whatever works! She will come to enjoy her crib very much. My kids both refused to sleep anywhere else!

Julie HamlettAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2952491439420549812.post-74462289317268798672008-01-09T22:18:00.000-06:002008-01-09T22:18:00.000-06:00I sleep on my tummy too (or side) which is probabl...I sleep on my tummy too (or side) which is probably why sleeping in a recliner is so difficult for me. No wonder I've had such a time! :-)

JodiAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2952491439420549812.post-79245866817301689422008-01-09T21:35:00.000-06:002008-01-09T21:35:00.000-06:00I still sleep on my tummy! Although, mom's lap would be more comfortable. It's a big step for her! But, she has done some pretty amazing things in her life, this should be no problem. I'm sorry your heat wasn't workikng, I hate being cold! So I use my beautiful K-State blanket to stay warm. Thanks again Charlene, you will never know how much you have warmed me and my heart.
I think about you guys all the time.
Stay Strong,
Shea♥

Izzy is so cute!!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2952491439420549812.post-24907608314641927972008-01-09T21:06:00.000-06:002008-01-09T21:06:00.000-06:00Even though it is a no-no, we have always put our ...Even though it is a no-no, we have always put our kids to sleep on their tummy. They have always slept better that way. Getting them to sleep in their cribs and for longer periods of time takes a lot of work. Like you mentioned, you have to put a pacifier back in many times, and see how long they can hold out without needing to eat. Soon it becomes habit.
Good luck.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
