School Starts Again

Well, a couple weeks ago, Abigail headed back to school. She has been at a private school for 2 years and had to adjust going back to public. On her first day of school was also her first practice with her new swim team.  So it was a really long day.  She swims every weeknight from 7 - 8:30 pm with 1 night off per week. Its been an adjustment having less home time.  But, I think itll get easier.

Olivia only thought she was done with school.  She is headed back to preschool with me at Kidslink Preschool.  Our youngest classroom only has 5 kids, so not enough to hire a second teacher, so Olivia is going to volunteer as a teacher assistant on Tuesday and Thursday mornings.  As we add more kids, there is the potential for her to get a paid position.  I think she is excited about starting next week.  Please say a prayer for her and this new opportunity.

Summertime

Our summer has been busy so far.  Abigail started on a summer swim team.  She loves swimming and hopes to join a year round swim team this fall. She has practice 4 days a week. And four swim meets.  Her first one was last night.  Other than that, we've had lots of appointments and lots of reading.  I think Im on my 9th book of the summer. Anyway, enjoy the pics! We also got family pictures taken a few weeks back.

Twelve More Days

Olivia has 12 more days of school left.  After 15 years of schooling (K-12 plus 2 years of preschool)  She is getting pretty excited and got her cap and gown yesterday.  We are hoping to get some good pictures of her in it this weekend.  Today she has her last IEP meeting to determine the best route for her after high school.  I think she probably just needs a break to focus on her mental health.  That is what she would prefer.  But I know Hod's got a plan a purpose for her life and I cant wait to see what her future holds.  Time sure flies.
