Sunday, December 23, 2007 - Merry Christmas and Happy Due Date

She must have been a very good girl. I bet Santa has tons of presents for her!

We had to take time for an afternoon cuddle!

Merry Christmas from Ryan, Jodi and Olivia.

Today was Olivia’s official due date. Actually, they consider 37 weeks full term with twins so she probably would have been born around Thanksgiving. I would have taken Halloween or at least sometime after Labor Day. She’s been through so much before she was even supposed to be born. We celebrated our first of many Christmases today. Because of RSV season we are unable to attend large family gatherings, so we are having multiple celebrations at home. Today was Christmas with Grandpa and Grandma Sailing. She has no idea how many presents she received. I just have to find places for all of it.

Merry Christmas, Olivia! I made a scrapbook page for our family scrapbook today of you. I didn't even realize it was your due date. Pretty cool! We love you and miss you. I hope you love all your presents - you deserve every one of them.
Love,
The Joel Glunt's

Merry Christmas and Happy Due Date, Olivia!

I know what you mean about taking Thanksgiving or even Hallowe'en or Labor Day. When Sharon was pregnant with our girls, I remember thinking: September 10th would be nice (their due date was October 3rd). Then I remember having the thought: let's just make it past Labor Day. What I wouldn't have done for the 4th of July (which would have made them 27 weekers). It's odd how your world, and your expectations, can change at the drop of a hat.

Anyway, enjoy your lovely little girl at home and we are wishing you the best of all Christmases and the happiest of all New Years.

Give Livi a big hug for me tonight on Christmas Eve. Make sure and sing her the 12 days of Christmas for me tonight also...paying special attention to the dancing ladies of course.
