Thank you, Kerry, for the new shirt!! Olivia LOVES it!  She has a hard time adjusting from short sleeve to long sleeve shirts so this is perfect.  She loves that it’s sparkly, that it has a hood and pockets in the front.  Olivia says she wants to wear it every day. . .yes, that should be fun to keep clean.  LOL!

She is loving preschool!

I bought her a new little mouse because she’s been obsessed with mice since her class mascot is the “church mouse.”  I think it’s her new favorite toy and I got called the best mom in the world.  Man, that was easy.  LOL!  I was going to give it to her at my baby shower, but decided to give it to her early.

And, I’m almost 26 weeks pregnant!  Wow, never thought I’d be here.  I’ve started having a hard time getting comfortable when I sleep so I dug out my ginormous pregnancy pillow from storage.  (Correction: My wonderful, loving husband dug it out of storage for me.) I take back all the bad things I ever said about it.  I’ve slept so much better with it even though it takes up half of the bed.  It’s my new best friend!

Thriving At Five!

Olivia has been doing amazing lately in so many different areas.

Here she is on her 4th day of preschool.

We had a blast yesterday building a Duplo Zoo.  She actually did the majority of it herself and remained focused on it for over an hour.  I remember the days when we had to force her to stack blocks because she hated it so much!  Now look at her!

In The Middle

Last night my blood sugar was pretty high and it was the first time I've correlated it with awful restless legs. And it was my fault for splurging on a snack that I knew I shouldn't eat. But I was feeling pretty awful which had Olivia a bit worried. At five, she's trying to understand about blood sugar.

"So mama, you don't want it to be high and you don't want it to be low? Do you want it to be in the middle?"

Then, she attempted to do things to help my blood sugar level out.

"Hugs and kisses should make your blood sugar be in the middle. And if I played you a pretty song, would that help get your blood sugar in the middle?"

Bless her heart, she is so incredibly sweet. And I told her not to let me eat anymore Chex Mix Muddy Buddies ever again. And I don't think she'll let me! She already asks me about the sugar content in food!!

Loving Preschool

Olivia is loving preschool so far this year!  I mean LOVES it!  Kidslink will be such a blessing for all of us!  The first day of school, I took a bunch of pictures of her.  So, now she wants her picture taken every day before school.  That makes this mama very happy because she never lets me take her picture anymore!  So, I’ll take it every day before school all year if she’ll let me.

And, have I told you how much she has matured since turning five years old?  It has just been astounding.  She has even finished her entire bowl of Spaghetti-Os. . .twice!

25 Weeks

Current size of baby: One and a half pounds

How far along? 25 weeks

Total weight gain: I broke the +20 lbs mark this week.

Inches Gained: 6 inches

Maternity clothes? Yes.

Sleep: Pretty good

How I'm feeling: Pregnant. Not only have I now gained over 20 lbs, but my wedding ring no longer fits and I’m finding it increasingly hard to paint my toenails. And I’m pretty sure I’ve started waddling.  LOL!

Best moment this week: Going to the state fair with Olivia and Ryan. Next year, we’ll be pushing baby sister around. Wow!

Gender: Girl!

Labor Signs: NO. Thank goodness

Belly Button in or out? Out

What I miss: I’m 25 weeks and loving it!

What I am looking forward to: Having a December baby!

Milestones: Every day is a milestone for me.
