Wednesday, September 3, 2008 - Update
What year is it? 2008? Are you sure? Because I watched 90210 last night and right now I'm listening to New Kids On the Block's new album. Tamar and Tiffany? We should be listening to this together. For some reason, we felt that we each had to have dibs on our favorite New Kid. Tiffany had Donnie and I think Tamar and I fought over Jordan. I must have won because Tamar had Jon. :) Talk about a blast from the past. That has been what I've needed this week. . .thoughts of simpler times, although I wouldn't trade in the life I have now with my husband and amazing daughter. Who would want to be a pre-teen again anyway? Although I'm not quite looking forward to Olivia's surgery tomorrow. Please keep us in your prayers.

Everything will be fine with Olivia's surgery you'll see, I and I'm sure a lot of people will keep you all in our prayers, good luck and please know that We will be thinking of you.

O good times, good times...lol.. I was soooo a Jordan fan! and Jill (carter and addies mom) was a Donnie fan! (yuck) but we would have "new kids on the block" parties, and have those GIGANTIC buttons of them! Hilarious!!!! Hangin Tough Baby!
Banning and I both watched 90210. I remember it was in 8th grade I think when they had the episode where one of the lesser characters was killed off. I remember going to school and everyone was trying to guess who it would be since they gave a teaser the week before. I was also a huge NKOTB fan. I liked Joey or Joe as he is now. I look at him today and wonder why? We can be so silly when we are young.
We will pray for Olivia's surgery. I am sure she will do fine!

Good thing no one had dibs on Joe because he was mine! :) I bought the new CD yesterday too and have been listening to it like crazy. I'd go to their concert in KC if it wasn't on a WEDNESDAY! I'm sure if you ever need a day full of reminiscing, you're welcome to venture east to look at my NKOTB trading cards or my hubbies old garbage pail kids. yeah we have them stuffed in a box somewhere around here!!!

I had dibs on Joey!! He was the youngest and cutest in my book! I think I memorized the ENTIRE NKOTB Hangin' Tough video! What devotion!
It's amazing to think back to those days and realize how much we really didn't know. Sometimes it would be nice to go back to those simplier days, but we have learned a lot through the years.
