Saturday, May 15, 2010 - Update

I am thinking about putting Olivia in a gymnastics class this summer. It would really be good for her sensory needs (she loves constant movement)and hopefully would help her learn to wait in line, listen to instructions, etc. Luckily, the parent attended classes last until she is 3, which won't be until the end of summer. I'm not ready to put her in a class by herself. Now, I just have to figure out whether to put her in class at the Y or at Acrobatic Academy. We have been thinking about joining the Y this summer to go swimming and if I have to pay for that anyway, it would be cheaper to take the class at the Y. If we don't join the Y, it would be cheaper to take it at Acrobatic Academy. Not sure what we're going to do, but summer is almost upon us, so I'd better decide, huh?

The Y, the Y, the Y! Seriously, if you don't get in on the $4 joiner fee, I'm sure my mom could waive the fee for you. There are so many branches that you can go to and so many things to do, I don't think you would be disappointed joining the YMCA.

I hope to see you tomorrow!

I'm just saying...I started taking classes at Acrobatic when I was 2, and I loved it!! It was a blast!
But anywhere you go, I'm sure Olivia will love it! It sounds like something she would be into! I hope everything works out!

Gymnasatics is THE BEST SPORT! All my girls are gymnasts and even though they won't be world champions, they are already top of their school class in all the sports they do - and all because of gymnastics

Both K and El did gymnastics at the Y. I liked K's class, but was a little disappointed in El's class. However, El is pretty advanced. She could have easily been in K's class. We plan on starting back up this summer. We took a break off during the winter month. We couldn't risk being around the germs and me getting sick. Once you have a membership, the gymnastics classes are only $20 a month, and you go once a week. Very reasonable, I thought. Good luck. Let me know what you decided and maybe we can get Ella and Olivia in the same class this summer.
