Well, at least I don't have to worry about Abigail not eating. She loves to eat as one can tell by the way she shot up on her growth curve. She's a big girl! I personally think babies need to put on all the weight they can before they start walking and becoming picky eaters. But that's coming from a mom who worries like crazy about Olivia's weight.

Don't worry..they don't become picky eaters unless you make a fuss about food. If she wants to try something..encourage it..never make comments such as 'if you don't like it, just spit it out' or 'it might be too salty for you'..etc. not saying that you do say stuff like this. But if food is treated as a fact of life and special kiddy meals are not prepared, then kids will eat anything. I'm only speaking from experience. I used to prepare the baby 'first' foods and feed her, and then when we were eating, I gave her some of our food to pick at on her high chair table. This way I was sure she had eaten, but was also helping her to develop a taste for all types of food.
