Wednesday, July 29, 2009 - Update

I have a birthday next month?
I've been busy working on things for Olivia's 2nd birthday party. We are doing a picnic/ant theme in honor of her favorite song. . .The Ants Go Marching. We'll have red and white gingham tablecloths, picnic baskets, brown paper lunches and ants, of course. Hopefully, it will turn out cute. I figure this is the last year that I'll probably even have a say in the birthday theme. Who knows what she'll be into next year. We're also hoping to make a NICU visit for her birthday. (So, NICU nurses, let us know what days/times would work best and we'll try to see as many of you as possible.) I'm going to have to prepare myself for that day. I can't imagine her walking down the hallways that Ryan and I took every day to come see her. That was a dream of mine to have her one day walk down those same hallways. I still can't believe she'll be two in less than a month!

What a cute theme. I am sure she will really enjoy it!! It is hard to believe she will be 2 soon. The years just go by so quickly. What a proud and amazing moment it will be to walk down those halls with Olivia. What an awesome blessing.

Sorry I haven't emailed you back yet! This week at work has actually been busy! I am going to Texas this weekend, but will be back in town on Tuesday. Maybe I could come over after work some evening that week or come over some day of the weekend? I'll email tomorrow!

Time flies doesn't it?! The NICU time seemed to go by so slow but the time they have been at home has flown by. Lindy and Will's
2nd birthday is TODAY!

How fun! I"m so glad you are going to take a visit back to the NICU nurses! I'm sure they appreciate it! By the way, is it safe to ask if Nurse Holli had her baby?
