After watching me clean ours, Olivia wanted to clean HER potty. I know, you've waited two days for a post and you get one with a picture of Olivia cleaning a toilet. That's how unexciting our life is. :) She is in a cleaning and laundry stage and wants to help me (I'm sure it won't last long.) When she helps with the laundry, it probably doubles the work, but cleaning. . .every little bit helps. She thinks every load of laundry needs towels because she knows where they are, so every load of laundry seems to have a towel or two thrown in. Then, she wants to put all of the clothes in the towel closet, so it's interesting what I find in there. And brooms? She LOVES brooms and went crazy at the grocery store watching someone push a big broom. She should have been a witch for Halloween and could have carried her very own broom. It's interesting to learn what kids find intriguing. Cleaning her own potty was definitely a highlight.

Hey there! I just saw your comment on Candice's blog. And it made me remember something. One of Bella's biggest reasons for gaining weight was the special formula we had to feed her. Because of her bowel surgery and the removal of part of her small intestine, we had to give her formula that had special fat chains for absorption purposes (which put weight on her fast). You can also try Similac's Alimentum if she is still drink formula. Give her a big hug for us!!!
That is too cute...lol... Nathan likes brooms too... HITTING people with brooms, but never the less ..brooms. :) But just think...if she loves doing laundry, and cleaning..you should always be caught up on your laundry! lol... too too cute... plus she can say "towel" really good... ;)
You should get her the silly sam and friends toys. They are a group of talking cleaning tools. Sam is the broom. Isaac, my 2 year loves them.

I love that she already helps you clean. Even though it takes longer, it is so worth it to keep encouraging that! Rebekah this morning brought us each a drink while we we working on packing boxes and said, "I am trying to do things without being told." We had had a discussion about taking initiative several days ago. Learning a good work ethic will help her her entire life. Good job, Mom!
I'm having Olivia withdrawal!!!
This is the cutest picture ever! She wants to help mama! Too bad it doesn't last through the teen age years. I'll have to show this to my 16 year old. Look! It's so easy even a 2 year old can do it!
