Thursday, April 3, 2008 - Update

Sometimes it's important to be reminded of how far we've come. . .
and of the miracles in our lives.
(These pictures were taken when Olivia was just a few days old.)

Hey, there's my Lil' Kinz!

I am still amazed at the number of people who come by to check on my daughter. We have had over 37,000 visits since Stacie put the sitemeter on in October. Many of you are my close family and friends and many of you I have never met. Sometimes I feel that you have all cried with me and laughed with me even though we're miles apart. Thank you so much for finding the time in your day and the place in your heart for my family.

Crystal Hanson here: I can't believe how far your little angel has come. I still look back at our old pictures and can't believe it. The time just goes by so fast.
I got your post on my website...about the cereal. Well, because that was the only thing I could come up with to cause the rash I went out and bought the oatmeal instead. He seems to not breakout with that. That rash put him in a funk for about a week. I will probably try the rice again to see if that really was the cause. Right now I am just going to stick with the oatmeal until he is 100% better. It sounds like Olivia might have a harder time eating though. If I were you I might wait a few more weeks. My friend told me that your babies should be eating around 32 oz. of food a day before you should try cereal. I am not sure if that is right or not?? All my kids take about 6-7 oz. each feeding. THEY hate the cereal though. It is nasty smelling stuff. I tried it and know why they don't like it! It made me gag! Each new step with these kids freaks me out...I wish I had a kid before them so I knew what I was doing. :) Well, take care! I hope I see you at the March of Dimes walk.
