I just received some devastating news this afternoon.
After college, I worked at American Family's district manager's office for Rachelle Burton. I enjoyed getting to know her. I still remember spending the whole day talking about my wedding and taking pictures of my ring after I got engaged. We were too excited to get much work done.
Her 4 year old son, Brant, passed away yesterday from e-coli. I am completely heart-broken. My thoughts and prayers go out to Rachelle, her husband, T.W. and family.

Terrible, do they know how he contracted the e coli?
That is horrible. I can't imagine. I was wondering too if they know how he got it? my gosh. how scary.
WHAT!? How do you get e coli?!
I don't think they know exactly how he contracted it. His father is a cattle rancher and being a four year old boy, I'm sure he loved nothing more than "helping" his dad. He could have come in contact with it that way. Most e-coli infections come from:
Eating undercooked ground beef (the inside is pink)
Drinking contaminated (impure) water
Drinking unpasteurized (raw) milk
Working with cattle
