Saturday, December 6, 2008 - Update

Me and my kitchen. . .this was my birthday present from the person who sent the anonymous Target gift card. I've always wanted to crawl through it.
My dad is so proud of me. Right back at ya, dad!

Now, let's see. . .how do I do this?

I've gotta pull really hard. . .

I made it!
To say that Olivia is blossoming would be an understatement. It's more like an explosion! She hasn't quite got up on her hands and knees to crawl, but she scoots herself all over the place. I left her in her room for a second and she was in her closet. She rides her pony everywhere! Sometimes she gets a little overly-ambitious and falls over when she turns. When she falls, however, she doesn't let go of the handlebars. . .so, the pony and her both go down. The other day, I left the lazy susan open in the kitchen and she found a bag of brown sugar that she thought she needed. The last week or so has just been amazing. She is in to everything and is becoming quite the handful. . .and I am loving every minute of it!

I'll bring hannah over and they can tear up your house together - instead of mine :) haha! We're going to have to get cupboard latches on cupboards that brooke never touched!!

So not only is hannah going to have a penguin like Olivia's... we now have purchased the pony too ;) I had not planned on that at all... but when big sis brooke wrote her letter to Santa (dictated it to grandma to type actually), she said in her last sentence "Hannah would like a little horsie." So... since it was in the letter to Santa...! we had to get hannah a pony!

Hope you are having a great weekend!

Wow!! I am so proud of Olivia and SO happy for you! Isn't it wonderful to see her blossoming! I think parents who've seen their children struggle so much have a special appreciation for these milestones and we get to have special smiles when our kids get into stuff they're not supposed to! It's secretly something we've prayed for because it's normal ;-)

And I may just have to get into those Twilight books! My highschool girls LOVE them!

Wow! I'm so glad that she is exploding! She is so wonderful, but we all already knew that! Hope all is well with your family and I really miss seeing you in church!

Explosions are great ( unless your kid is battling a stomach bug which mine currently is )! I was just talking to someone about Kellars vocabulary explosion, it's still not sentences but 3 and 4 words now, it's great! I wanted to buy Kellar that kitchen, she looks like shes really enjoying it, that's great that she's all over the place on the pony, learning to ride a toy took Kellar forever so she's doing well! You just think she's into things now, you just wait but it'll be worth it!
