Tuesday, June 23, 2009 - Update

This morning, Olivia's temp shot up to 103.4. She was miserable, but once her temp came down, she started playing again. I don't understand it. If she's still running a temp tomorrow, I'll probably take her into the doctor. Her cousin had the same thing (with a higher temp) and was told it was viral. Other than a temperature, she's acting pretty normal.

I'm frustrated with myself for being so tired and know that I need to step it up. My daughter is sick, my husband is still having problems with his back. . .there really isn't any time for me to be tired. I still can't shake this fatigue that's been going on for over a year now. It's awful and I'm done with it. It doesn't help that it's so incredibly hot outside that I feel trapped inside the house just like I did all winter. Olivia doesn't understand why she can't go outside and I forgot how much I despise hot weather.

I think the doctor is a good idea. Her body is fighting off something.
You just might have to go outside and sweat alittle.

Glad to hear I am not the only one who has lost her brain and grabs random objects thinking they are something else. That cracks me up. No wonder we are so good together! haha

I feel for you. I have been feeling really low on energy this summer and I am so frustrated with myself that I can't care for my family better. I can't even imagine how you are feeling after being in this condition for over a year. I sure hope Olivia kicks this bug soon and the weather gives us a short break from 100+ temps! One place we love to go to keep busy and out of the heat is the library. They always have activities for kids and Charlie loves to check out books and things.

Sorry to hear that Olivia is feeling bad. We fought that stinkin temp for about a week. It was crazy! The motrin seems to help the best - keeps the fever away longer and gets rid of the grouchiness.

Hope she feels better soon!

Hope Olivia is feeling better soon!! I'm sure that doesn't help your fatigue issues when she's ill. Thinking of you!!
