I met with a new endocrinologist on Friday and he is starting me on Metformin. In addition to changing my diet, we are hoping that this will help manage my diabetes. The problem is. . .I've been on Metformin before as it is also prescribed for the treatment of PCOS and infertility. I could not tolerate the side effects from it and had to discontinue treatment. For some, it is a miracle drug, but this was not the case with me 5 years ago. Please pray that I am able to tolerate it this time and that I see a great benefit from the medication.

I took metforin when I was trying to get pg, it unfortunately didn't work for me, neither did clomid. I can't remember what I took and did get pg with Cameron ( my 20 wkr ). With Kellar it was natural and with this pregnancy it too was natural and a shock! I too have pcos..Good luck to you!
