We picked out Logan’s marker today. It’s a little teddy bear plaque. . .it will be really nice for him. That was very difficult to do. I still miss my baby boy so very much. I hate that someday I’ll have to tell Olivia that she lost her twin brother. Twins always have a special connection, you know. Olivia is doing good. They are not going to try to start her feedings until Thursday. Her vent settings were turned down a bit. She’s now at 21/5 with a rate of 18 bpm. She was on room air for quite awhile today. Last night when her nurse was in with her, Olivia grabbed her finger and wouldn’t let go. I guess she just needed a friend. How precious is that? Olivia still fights the ventilator with all of her might. I bet she will be so happy to get that out.
Stacie put a site meter on this webpage yesterday. Wow. . .If I’d had any idea of the number of people visiting each day, I probably wouldn’t have written half of the things on here. I do feel blessed to have so many people who care. Stacie and I have agreed to keep up this blog until Olivia is at least 25 years old. I can see it now. . .”My little Olivia started her period today. . .” Well, maybe Olivia wouldn’t want me to tell EVERYTHING. We’re sure grateful for all of the prayers.

Olivia is well on her way to CPAP! 21/5 and 18 Wow! She's doing so good. It won't be long.
I will look for you when we're "Home" in the Wichita NICU. They say we may go to PICU since the babies are getting so big. It will be hard giving up our Neo's.

I wanted to comment on your saying you never wanted to be an inspiration to others, just a mother. I get what you're saying and would imagine so. Having said that, you and your husband, Olivia, and Logan, are THAT and so many other things. You each represent hope, faith, and resilience. -This may seem silly, but I hope you'll share your story in a book someday. I'm serious. You write so openly and eloquently (and I hope that won't change now you're aware of how many people log on to this site each day-ha!). As you're finding out, through the number of hits to this site, so many are touched each day. Olivia and Logan have blessed everyone's lives. -Stacy Woodard
I would totally agree with Stacy. Jodi, you have always been a wonderful, inspirational writer even back in those days when we used to write short stories on the bus. I think you have a gift and should definitely keep on writing even if it's only for you. Oh and realize some of those hits are duplicates as I personally bring up the blog several times a day (I like listening to the music as I work!)!

Wouldn't that look good on the title of a book! hee-hee! I'm so glad that Olivia is doing better today. And I'm glad that you're glad about the number of guests that log on to this site. Now you should really know how many people you are reaching out too. I know that this is what I look forward to everyday. The end of the first quarter, at school, is coming up and so I'm getting pretty stressed out about some projects, but logging on and reading about your daughter makes my days seem perfect. I, too, would agree with Stacy and the others about your writing a book! What an inspiration you are. I so look forward to getting up in the morning and having my "alone time" and getting on the computer to see how that precious, little Olivia is doing. I am so thankful that she is doing better. She will always be in my prayers! I'm also praying for little Logan because he went through so much in his short little life - but you know what? I bet he is up there asking God to care for his Sister and
his Mom & Dad (and let's not forget the Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles & Cousins). Just thinking about "That Precious Pair" makes my heart so full - they have definitely given all of us spiritual awareness and HOPE! God will continue to keep you under His wing and give you strength and courage.

Many of the hits on the web sites are from nurses who care for Olivia or who cared for Logan in the past. I love that even when I have a few days off I can check up on Miss Olivia to make sure she is keeping everyone on their toes! Technology is sure making keeping everyone updated easier.
