You do not know me, my mother in law works at Preferred Health Systems with someone in your family. I had triplets at 27 weeks. It is a long road thru the NICU and everyday feels like an eternity, but it does end!! I am thinking of you and you are in our prayers. Wesley NICU is wonderful and the neos work miracles. Keep positive and remember that you are supported by many.

Hello Ryan & Jodi,
I work w/Tannis Tritt in Mull's Colorado field office and she asked me to add your family to my prayer list - which I immediately did! I just wanted to let you know that I know EXACTLY what you are going thru - looking at this blog brought back so many memories and I shed a few tears. You see, my daughter Hannah was born 13 weeks premature, weighed 2 lbs 9 oz and was 15" long - she had open-heart surgery to repair a PDA when she was only 3 days old. We lived in a rural area at the time and the nearest Children's Hospital was 150 miles away - I had complications too when she was born, saw her for about 5 minutes before she was wisked away on Angel One (Arkansas Children's Hospital Flight for Life Helicopter), so Hannah was 5 days old before I got to see her again. I remember the "hand-hugs" too! Oh but the wonder and excitement when I held her for the first time! The things that kept me going most were my faith in the Lord and the love and prayers of family, friends AND strangers. To make a long story short, Hannah is now 20 years old, 5'5" tall (I won't tell her weight!) and soon to be married!! :-) She is my miracle baby and such a blessing in our lives! So...keep the faith and I will keep praying for you and your precious little bundles!
God Bless You All!
