The LORD is good to those who depend on him, to those who search for him.
-Lamentations 3:25
Things were a little more difficult today. Olivia’s CVC line culture did test positive for the staph infection, so it had to be removed today. They had to put another IV in and may have to have another CVC line put in later this week. Olivia and Logan have had more IVs, more transfusions, more surgeries and more tubes going in and out of them than most adults. It really affected me today. I sat watching them in their beds and couldn’t help but to think of how uncomfortable all of that must be. Babies shouldn’t have to endure things like that. They should be surrounded by blankets and stuffed animals and toys. . .not tubes and IVs. It’s so hard not to pick them up and cuddle them and rock them and tell them that everything is going to be okay. That’s what a mother is supposed to be able to do. Please continue praying for them. They still need so many prayers.

Your babies are in conversations and prayers everyday-their little ears must be constantly burning!! As God as my witness, I was sitting at a volleyball game last night telling my mother in law that I couldn't believe Logan had his surgery just a week ago-what a miracle for that little guy! You may not be able to hold your babies (and I cannot imagine the agony of that) but a baby knows its momma's voice. You ARE giving them comfort, Jodi, just in a different way. You're already such a wonderful mom. I loved your story about the singing-I laughed through my tears!! I love it that you and Ryan read to them. I'll pray that you all feel better today.
Good morning Glunt family! That's too bad about Olivia. But I think it's great that Logan wants to open his eyes! Wouldn't that be amazing, to see his pretty eyes!?! That's silly that he doesn't like it when you sing to him! Maybe Laura can get him turned around! I continue to keep all of you in my prayers.
Olivia and Logan, stay strong. I really want to meet you.
God Bless,

This is from my friend Raquel. I passed along your situation to all my friends and asked for prayer. She sent this just this morning and knows what it is to leave a baby in the hospital after he's born.
Becky-
I checked Olivia and Logan's website again today and I thought I might pass on the verses that were a comfort to my Bible study teacher (son had cancer in his leg as a baby), to Michael and Heidi (son had to have heart surgery
right after birth), and to me (Caleb in NICU for severe meconium
aspiration). I attached the file--feel free to read and pass along if you want.
Prayed for them just now.

Psalm 86
A Psalm of Supplication and Trust.
A Prayer of David.
1 Incline Your ear, O LORD, and answer me; For I am afflicted and needy.
2 Preserve my soul, for I am a godly man; O You my God, save Your servant who trusts in You.
3 Be gracious to me, O Lord, For to You I cry all day long.
4 Make glad the soul of Your servant, For to You, O Lord, I lift up my soul.
5 For You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive,And abundant in lovingkindness to all who call upon You.
6 Give ear, O LORD, to my prayer; And give heed to the voice of my supplications!
7 In the day of my trouble I shall call upon You, For You will answer me.
8 There is no one like You among the gods, O Lord, Nor are there any works like Yours.
9 All nations whom You have made shall come and worship before You, O Lord, And they shall glorify Your name.
10 For You are great and do wondrous deeds; You alone are God.
11 Teach me Your way, O LORD I will walk in Your truth; Unite my heart to fear Your name.
12 I will give thanks to You, O Lord my God, with all my heart, And will glorify Your name forever.
13 For Your lovingkindness toward me is great, And You have delivered my soul from the depths of Sheol.
14 O God, arrogant men have risen up against me, And a band of violent men have sought my life,
And they have not set You before them.
15 But You, O Lord, are a God merciful and gracious, Slow to anger and abundant in loving kindness and truth.
16 Turn to me, and be gracious to me; Oh grant Your strength to Your servant, And save the son of Your handmaid.
17 Show me a sign for good,That those who hate me may see it and be ashamed, Because You, O LORD, have helped me and comforted me.
Call upon me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you will honor me. Ps 50:15
God is our “very present help in trouble” Ps 46:1
Thank you for being right here, Lord.
Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall, but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary; they will walk
and not be faint. Is 40:31
When the angel appeared to Mary and turned her whole world upside down, she said, “I am the Lord’s servant. May it be to me as you have said.”Lk 1:38
It is the loving hand of God that is allowing this—I can trust Him.
Robert Murray McCheyne, a Scottish missionary and preacher who never lived to see his 30th birthday: “If I could hear Christ praying for me in the next room, I would not fear a million enemies. Yet distance makes no difference; He is praying for me.”
Olivia and Logan are beautiful little miracles. I continue to look at your website many times a day, and I pray for you daily. You are an awesome family.
