Ryan and Jodi

Ryan and Jodi respectfully ask that you give them this time to be with each other and their family. They will not be taking any phone calls or answering emails.
Please leave your well wishes and prayers for them on this message board.
Please be in prayer for Ryan and Jodi today. At 2pm they will meet with the funeral director. No parent should ever have to plan their child's funeral. And, so with that I ask that you lift their entire family in prayer.
Jodi asks that you please continue to honor Logan's life by remembering not only him, but also what he did for you. For many they now have closer walk with God because of this blog and Ryan and Jodi's testament of faith. Never forget that Logan mattered. His life was beautiful and it was worth something. Logan was only here for a short time - but in that time he taught much to so many.
Wrap them in your prayers today. Pray Olivia will continue to grow stronger each day.
Matthew 5:4 - Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.

Ryan and Jodi,

Joel called us to tell us Logan was finally home.

Father, surround Ryan and Jodi with your love, with the comfort that only You can give at such a time. Thank You for the family of brothers and sisters in You that You have put in this world to bear each other's burdens and griefs. And thank you that Logan is safe in Your arms. Heaven is sweeter to us than it ever has been before.

Much love in Him Who knows our sorrows,

Becky Riffee

One of my favorite hymns by Fanny Crosby:

Safe in the arms of Jesus, Safe on His gentle breast, There by His love oe'r shaded, Sweetly my soul shall rest. Hark! 'tis the voice of angels, Borne in a song to me, Over the fields of glory, Over the jasper sea.

Safe in the arms of Jesus, Safe on His gentle breast, There by His love o'er shaded, Sweetly my soul shall rest.

Safe in the arms of Jesus, Safe from corroding care, Safe from the world's temptations, Sin cannot harm me there. Free from the blight of sorrow, Free from my doublts and fears; Only a few more trials, Only a few more tears!

Safe in the arms of Jesus, Safe on His gentle breast, There by His love o'er shaded, Sweetly my soul shall rest.

Jesus, my heart's dear refuge, Jesus has died for me; Firm on the Rock of Ages, Ever my trust shall be. Here let me wait with patience, Wait till the night is o'er; Wait till I see the morning Break on the golden shore.

Safe in the arms of Jesus, Safe on His gentle breast, There by His love o'er shaded, Sweetly my soul shall rest.

There is nothing that can be said to comfort you now. But know that people in NICU's around the country are saying prayers for you. I am so sorry for your loss and will continue to hope for Olivia's continued progress. As we have said about our Braedon, Logan got his wings and will be the best guardian angel for his sister.

Reading your post about your needing space and parents that shouldn't have to make funeral arrangements brought back a rush of tears to me as if I was in your shoes again.

My precious twin daughter passed away 2 years and a week ago, and I still feel those painful feelings of loss and emptiness, although I know that my surviving twin daughter Kaitlyn has the most special guardian angel that watches over her and our family.

And that our precious angels Logan is playing with Corinne as well as all of the other angel babies born too soon.

Please know that I do understand your loss and feelings, my love and sympathy goes out to you and your family.

Liz
